7th Grade Makerspace Project

Students used TinkerCad to design 3D boats. Mrs. Vollstedt then used the 3D printer to create their boats. Students then placed their boats in water and added pennies to see how many pennies their boat could hold before sinking. These boats were able to hold 40 pennies and would have held more if time allowed.
