Dear Parents,

Welcome to Sacred Heart Preschool! My name is Tracy Pigott and I, along with my associate Erica Holmes, will be teaching a 4 year old preschool class as well as the Transitional Kindergarten class this year. We are looking forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new friends.

This is my 15th year teaching at Sacred Heart Preschool.  I am a University of Iowa graduate. My husband Jeff and I have four children, Annie, Nathan, Nicholas, and Ellie. All attended Sacred Heart and Dowling.  We have been parishioners  at Sacred Heart Church for the past 24 years and love being part of the Sacred Heart School and Church community.

Erica Holmes is starting her 8th year as my associate. Erica is a graduate of Sacred Heart, Dowling, and Drake University. She and her husband Max have two children. Emma a 6th grader at Sacred Heart and Max a senior at Dowling.

My primary goals for this year will be to develop a positive self- image in each child as well as a love of learning.  We will be using Creative Curriculum as well as Project Based Learning as a basis for our activities.

Each week I will be sending out a newsletter to inform you of upcoming  events. The newsletter will include areas of focus as well as activities or suggestions for reinforcement at home.
