Dear Sacred Heart Families,
My name is Tiffany Bayless and I am the library media specialist. I am so excited to begin my thirteenth year at Sacred Heart School. I have lived in West Des Moines for 19 years. I am originally from a small town in southwest Iowa and worked around that area for 11 years. I received a B.S. in library science and elementary education at Northwest Missouri State University. I also have an M.A. in educational technology from the University of Northern Iowa.
Even though things will be different this year, I will continue to provide books for students to read. I look forward to seeing what everyone has been reading since we last saw each other in the spring. I will continue to provide many fun reading activities this year.
Sacred Heart Library will be welcoming Shondra Murphy as a part-time library associate. She helped Mrs. Vollstedt out last year and this year I am fortunate to have her helping in the library also. She will be a huge asset to the library and will help to keep it running. Her children attend Sacred Heart and she was previously an associate in the kindergarten room so she is very familiar with the staff and the building.
I am very blessed to be working with such dedicated staff and parents at Sacred Heart. I look forward to another wonderful year!
