My name is Mary Ludwig and I'm so excited to be at Sacred Heart teaching reading and math resource. I grew up in Indianola and graduated from there in 2006. I then went to Loras College and graduated in 2010 with a degree in Elementary Education and an Endorsement in Special Education Instructional Strategist 1. I went on to teach Special Education in Des Moines for 5 years. During that time, I got my Masters of Science of Education. I also got an Endorsement in Special Education for Strategist 2 for students with behavioral and learning disabilities. After having my first son, Parker, I stayed home with him and then had another boy, John. Both boys attend Sacred Heart. It is a joy to see growth and confidences boost through the wonderful interactions with students at Sacred Heart!
