Hello!My name is Anthony Battani, and I am excited to be joining the Sacred Heart family. I grew up in the Diocese of Des Moines, attending St. Pius grades K-8 and Dowling Catholic High School grades 9-12. I earned a degree in history education from Iowa State University, and I have been teaching social studies in Osceola, Iowa for the past seven years. I live in West Des Moines with my wife, Lizzie, son, William, and Rudy the dog.I look forward to growing and sharing our faith with your children. My hope is that their hearts will be on fire for Jesus Christ and His message by the time they leave Sacred Heart.
