Discovery Learning Program

The mission of the Sacred Heart Discovery Learning Program is to identify and maximize the growth of learners with high academic ability. The program recognizes the unique social, emotional, and academic needs of these learners and will provide a variety of programming options to develop talent and to meet individual student needs.

Meeting the needs of identified students is the shared responsibility of the Discovery program teacher, classroom teachers, administrators, & parents.

Students with high academic abilities require a variety of services and options to meet their individual cognitive and social-emotional needs.
